Yarn Bee Scrub-ology Cotton Dish Yarn Full Review

Yarn Bee Scrub-ology Cotton Yarn  is available in 1 solid colorway and 9 prints. Surprisingly there aren’t a lot of solid color choice, but the print options offer plenty of variety.This is a tightly plied yarn with the fringe made of the same material shooting out from all around the yarn. 

Since the fringe is made of the same fiber as the plies, it has a nice consistent feel for texture. Also, being 100% cotton, the fringe is extremely strong. 

What sets apart Yarn Bee Scrub-ology Cotton yarn, and I absolutely LOVE this… is that it’s 100% cotton. Meaning, it’s environmentally friendly. In fact, this yarn did not bother my fingers one bit! However, the yarn itself is extremely grabby. And given that cotton yarns tend to be a bit stiff, it makes knitting quite difficult. 

If this is supposed to be center pull yarn, you will have a most difficult time finding that center. In fact, I tried a few times and gave up. I ended up pulling off the label to use the outer yarn instead. Since I’m knitting just a small scrubby, this is not a big deal.

I do love the finished object, and I especially love that the yarn is 100% cotton!

• No luck finding the pull from center tail

Final thought on Yarn Bee Scrub-ology Cotton Yarn

It was quite difficult to knit with, but I love the fact that this is 100% cotton yarn. In particular, the print colorways are fun and I enjoyed the final object.
