Loops & Threads Squeaky Clean Yarn Full Review
Loops & Threads Squeaky Clean Prints Yarn is available in 9 prints colorways. The feel of this yarn is very similar to the Red Heart Scrubby Stripes yarn, but not as soft. Again, like the Red Heart Scrubby Stripes yarn, this one would work better at exfoliating skin than at scrubbing dishes. Though with some elbow grease on some glassware it could get it clean without a scratch.
I liked the random color changes and funnily enough even though the section of color were all different, there was enough of a pattern so that in the scrubbies that I knit, there was a sort of uniformity.
This yarn was not quite as easy to knit with as the Red Heart Scrubby Stripes, but I kind of liked the more frequent color changes for scrubbies on this one. Overall, it was an easy to use yarn. And it held together much better than the Red Heart Scrubby Stripes. Of course with plies you always run the risk of some unraveling, the unraveling was far more prevalent in the Red Heart scrubby Stripes than in the Loops & Threads Prints.
And just like Red Heart’s Scrubby solids and stripes… Why is the stripes version different? I totally get a different label letting knitters and crocheters know that it is self-striping yarn. But I do NOT for the life of me understand why these yarns are slightly different size skeins and prices.
I knit each of the three patterns with the prints variation of this yarn as it was an easy to use yarn. Mostly because I was also interested to see how the prints would work with each of the patterns. And I absolutely love how it looks in the circle and flower pattern. Not a huge fan of the square, but it works.

Pros & Cons
PROS
- Fairly Easy to knit with
- Fun color mix ups
CONS
- Not a lot of yarn per skein.
- Pull from center fake out – I hate that!
- Confusing on why there is a discrepancy between the regular and stripes?

Final thought on Red Heart Scrubby Sparkle Yarn
Final thoughts, this is a fun yarn and I did enjoy knitting with it in both the stripes and solid. I do not understand why they are not exactly the same as far as weight and yardage. Thi is baffling to me. However, I can understand Red Heart wanting to have one labeled as “stripes” to indicate to the buyer that the yarn is dyed to stripe.

And there you have it! If you have any questions about this yarn or have a pattern to use with it? Let me know in the comments!
