The holidays are upon us! And that means for many of us – knit gifts! But it also means, shopping. I know a lot of us have been trying to change our shopping habits and support small businesses. It’s so hard when we don’t know what small shops have, and Target has great gifts that fit a wide range of people. That’s why I decided to create a 2022 Holiday Gift Guide!
I reached out to some small businesses I know, and to a lot of small businesses I don’t know to tell me a little about themselves and the awesome items they have for sale. To tell you that I had no idea some of these things even existed would be an understatement. I’ve been blown away by the sheer creativity of these shop owners!
These items have a wide range and so I’ve done my absolute best to get them into categories, but honestly, look through them all – there is a gem in each and every item here. One more tip, if you aren’t wild about the item that’s shown, check out the whole shop. They have more than just the one thing I’m highlighting here.

The ceramic knit ornaments I offer are some of my favorite designs. I, personally, do not have the patience to knit ornaments, but I love the charming homemade look that these give to a tree. I think they even make great non-denominational winter decor. They would look really cute hanging from window locks or door knockers. You could even use them as a fancy gift tag on a bottle of wine.
